Miz Had a New Set of Colorpencils!

Yay Miz is happy! XD (It was yesterday's story.) Went to Petaling Street to get some cheap tutorial books (Although they're outdated... No wonder it's sold for 70% off.) and some other materials for Design Class! Design Class needs us to spend lots of money on our works, without fail for every class.

So Miz grabbed some Adobe Photoshop, Flash, Dreamweaver and Fireworks tutorial books, which are SO outdated but are worth it because Miz just wanna see the steps on how the basic things works, not those very advanced funky methods. All were 70% off so each book was not more than RM20. The original price may vary up to RM50-RM150 per book! Can you believe it?! Ok well, after that Miz went to get foam sheet since there's no other material that are good to use for the paper sculptures anyway. The happy part comes now~

Dad called Miz and showed some oil pastels to Miz. It was Pelikan brand oil pastels. Miz didn't really bother at first because Miz wanted those brands on Miz's wishlist... Futhermore, Miz don't really use oil pastels. And it's only 24 colours! But then dad said it was a good brand and worth buying since it's cheap also. Suddenly, Miz saw colourpencils! They were just beside the oil pastels. 36 colours this time! Miz did not intend to buy them since.... Well yeah you guessed it, Miz wanted those in Miz's wishlist. But dad keep insisting Miz to buy as it's quite cheap... RM16 for 36 colours. So ok Miz got one set and hope it'll turn out useful.

Later on Miz went to grab some comic books! It's been months since Miz last saw unopened comic books at the shops. It was a big catch! XD Got Miz ten whole sweet plastic wrapped comic books~ Can't wait to open them when Miz reached home. X3 Went for lunch somewhere behind Kota Raya. Dad took us to the back ways of the streets... It was worse than going to night or morning markets... =_= After that, Miz sort of forgot where we went and what we did but went home after that. Lol.

At night, Miz made a colour chart with the newly bought colourpencils today. It really is not bad. The colours are bright, only thing is they're not saturated enough. So Miz thought of an idea to make a colour chart of all the different brands of the colourpencils Miz owned so far. Miz owned this set of 48 colours Staedtler brand colourpencils for years! A gift from my aunts when i was young. Thanks aunts. =') Another temporary set of 12 colours Stabilo colourspencils. Made a colour chart and felt so happy! Just by looking at the colour chart makes Miz's mood better although it's been fantastic already~

Then Miz started to study the colours. Different brand with the same colour really turns that they're not similiar. For example, all three brand's common red colour is slightly different in terms of saturation, lightness and blending ability. So you can say that Miz has now 12+36+48=96 different colours!

End of blog for today, although it was yesterday's story. =) See you all again soon and have a nice day to all~
