Sweet Old Memories~

I strongly believe that everyone has some past memories that they cannot forget, may it be pleasant and sweet ones, or sad and haunting memories. But one thing I know for sure is that many people will tend to forget most of the sad moments and remember the happy ones. =)

I still remember the times when I was in kindergarden, followed by the time when I was in primary school, then continue going to secondary school, and lastly the present times in college. Although I don't remember every moment of it, but there's some times where I recall certain memories at random times. =D Some sweet, some bitter... But they're still memories of the past, you can't change it no matter how much you want to because you've been through it and only you know about it.

As you can all see in the picture above, it's one of the screenshot taken by me when I was still playing the online game called Perfect World. Guess which one is me (in game)? Haha... I'm the one on the right. Pretty right? Lol... =_=; On the left is my god brother (not blood relate. We just know each other in game) who lives at the other side of the world - Netherlands. Yes I know why you may ask why I said 'brother'... Because...! He's a guy in real life but playing as a female character in game. Funny eh? I kindda feel strange calling him 'brother' in game... (private chat though... =P not revealing it to everyone.) We were in the same guild - Imperial. Then some things just happen... (OWH...~~!!! O_O) I went to college! And yes since I enter college, I've been busy everyday. I mean EVERYDAY!!! Since then I did not touch the game at all... T_T Sobs... I miss my guild people... I miss my brother... I miss everything about it. Whenever I think of it, I wanna and feel like crying. It's true! I'm in love with this game. It's been more than a month since I've last played it. I wonder how's everyone doing in there... I think I may have to quit the game once and for all. >_< WA....~~~!!! T_T

Ok so this is part of my past memory although it's onsidered quite recent. And for now, I'll end my post already. I need to get some shut eye.... Assignments are killing me not to mention they're those art and design work. Requires you to stay till midnight or later. O_o So before I end my post, I'd like to advise all of you readers of my blog... Treasure your memories no matter how important they are. Imagine us not having memories at all...Wouldn't it be scary? Lol. So please do so, and you can improve in life and from your past mistakes. That's all for this post. Thank you for reading and have a nice day ahead~ ^^

Nerds can shine out too...

The truth is, many people tend to think that they're nerds. (even me T_T and till now...) This is quite common for most of us as we're admiring our friends who can do better than ourselves. We admire our idols too, whoever they may be. =D Our school teacher, singer, actor or actress... Anybody. It's quite unusual not to have idols to be role models or to admire someone. Even little kids these days have idols. For me, my idol is... A secret. =P

Now, I'd like to point out a little about what the title means. Yes, you may already know this... Some people may be talking about it and all. But sometimes you just dont understand about it. Some people, especially kids may be called a nerd by their friends (most commonly, friends will do that, but in other cases, maybe some family members do too...) just because... There's many reasons to it. It may be because he acts like a nerd, such as behaving strangely and seem to be scared of everything; or he may not excel well in studies or co-curriculum activities; etc. So this is why the kid is looked down by other kids, and for no apparent reason being called a nerd out of the blues.

Being called a nerd ain't something fun or to be proud of. A nerd means... A nerd. =_= (I don't really know how to explain it. But i know it's something bad...) Someone who's being called a nerd doesn't feel very good about it and they're always bullied by others. Besides that, they have fewer friends. Only true friends understand that in their hearts, they're not nerds. Kids who're called nerds always tend to think in a negative way: they may not succeed like his other outstanding friends or his idol, or that they may not succeed in something eventhough they put in extra effort. This is totally SO wrong!

Nerds can shine out too... One day. You may not know when is the day that you may shine out, but being hardworking and overcoming obstacles in life can eventually lead you, as a nerd, to a successful life. Then you'll only be a 'former nerd'. When things get better, maybe your friends who've called you a nerd before may even look up upon you as his idol. In the ten rules of Bill Gates, rule number 10 stated: Be nice to nerds. Chances are you'll end up working for one. Quite true... Although not everyone of us has a former nerd as a boss. =)

In the process of wanting to shine out, a nerd may be doing lots of things to surpass his so-called 'cooler' friends. He may not be able to change his friend's thoughts of stop calling him a nerd, for it'll always make things worse. Instead, he works hard to change his negative behaviours or character. It's not something easy to do... It may take months, or even years to change even the slightest things, physically or mentally. Well, for the physical part, he may change his dressing style or get a new haircut. That ain't something very hard to do... The hard part is to change any negative behaviours and so on. Sometimes we may not be able to change it, but we'll try to do anything to control and cover up that negative behaviour.

so, in conclusion, I'd like to repeat myself... I wanna say that... Nerds can shine out too. So don't ever look down on your friend who's being called a nerd. You may never know that he may be more successful than any of you and your other classmates. So you may wanna try to act nice to nerds next time? XD
