Christian songs...?

What is your first impression about christian songs? When people mention christian songs, what is the first thing that you'll think about it? For me, of course, it's holy. And for the lyric, this sentence : "Oh Jesus ~~ You lift me up... ~~~" will always pop out of my mind once someone talks about christian songs. Lol... XD most of them have calming effects and may soothes you to sleep. (but that doesn't work for me...) So ok... I'm going to tell a story (more of a joke for me.) about christian songs. Trust me, there's nothing dirty or bad about it. I don't insult anything and anyone... Or rather, most of the things. =P Well, this story was told by my brother some time ago... So, here it goes!

My younger brother, who is 15 years old this year, has a very VERY holy friend who is at the same age. (I don't know what his name is... =_=;;) As we all know, children nowadays are NOT holy. (i didn't say ALL of them are not holy though, just saying that most of them, even myself... ^^;) So anyway, his conversations mostly ended up in holy or christian songs. Even his phone ringtones are christian songs (mp3). O_o Well, enough talking about this guy, let's get to the story...

So one day my brother's school had organised a camp in school. They had to put up a night in school as part of a training activity or some sort... Then at night when they were about to sleep, they discussed about who among them would want to wake the rest of the group up, and it so happen that all of them chose and agree that the holy boy would wake them up. (this is because they don't want to be the first to wake up. You see, all of them like to be woken the last as they have this "extra" time of few minutes to stay asleep. The later they wake up the better, as they can have more time to sleep. =_=) The matter is then settled. The next morning, yes you all guessed it (i think...) they woke up way past the time they were supposed to get ready for some activity. I dunno what happened after that or if they got punished, but my brother told me that later on they have this discussion on why they were late.

The boys were all wondering how come the holy boy did not wake them up. So the holy boy explained that he did woke up when the alarm went off but he didn't know what happened after that. So my brother's group was suspecting that there's something wrong with the alarm or his phone (oh forgot to mention that he uses his phone alarm. =D). One of them asked the holy boy what ringtone or music did he use for his alarm. The holy boy replied that it was some christian songs. And yes, the group's expression was this... =_=; lol. Another boy asked if he could let them hear what kind of song would that be, so that they were precise about the predictions they made earlier, which is the "sleeping song". The holy boy did as he was told. Sure enough it's those songs that will put you back to sleep! XD plus it's quite soft so no one can really hear or notice it ringing. The holy boy explained that he might have off the alarm when it went off and went back to sleep. ^^
(at the moment my brother told me that, the sentence "Oh Jesus ~~ You lift me up... ~~~" began floating in my mind. XD) When the boys heard the song, they fainted. The anime way. XD Yes, so what did we learned in today's blog? The moral of the story is NOT to use christian songs (or any other calming/soothing songs) as alarm ringtone. ^^

I don't think I said the story in a funny way. I suck at telling jokes. Nobody really understand what i say sometimes... T_T Yeah it's quite sad but what to do... It's just not my thing. Anyway it's time to end my blog for now. I'll see you readers and visitors of my page another day. Have a good day ahead! X3
