Fresh From The Bookstore

Dad and I went to the bookstore called "Xcess" in Amcorp Mall this afternoon to get some books because the bookstore sold books up to twice as cheap as those bought from other bookstores. (can't name 'em. Ahem...)

As requested, I would post up images of the books I bought for myself... Though I was actually lazy to post it up here. =_=

Typosphere.

Digital Photography - Beyond the Camera.

The New Photography Manual.

Creativity Awards Annual 36 (?).

Definitely Dead.

More Notes from the Universe - Life, Dreams and Happiness.

Wow I've actually gotten 6 books, while dad bought only 3. XD Amount doesn't matter anyway, as long as the book benefits us. Plus, dad actually had a discount card and we had 5% discount off the whole bunch of books we bought. All these total up to less than RM300. Cheap ain't it? =)

I'll stop writing now. I'm quite lazy today I don't know why. =S Have a nice day ahead~

I Name You Weedy

I found some stray weeds growing together with the grasses in my garden. And I thought I should save a weed because some of them were really beautiful.

After looking through for some small weed plants, I found a growing weedling and plucked it out slowly with a spade. Then I transferred the little fellow into a lovely small pot.

Meet Weedy:

Barrel shaped pot on my cutting mat.

Inside the pot lies little Weedy.

Maybe I should call it Wendy instead?

I hope it grows up fine in my room. I'll make sure it gets proper watering and sunlight. =D Wait till it grows taller and I'll see what I can do with it. I like the little flowers growing from it.

Save a plant everyone! Have a nice day ahead~

Movies Watched

In three days I've watched two movie. Not bad, I would say. XD On Monday I watched "Alice in Wonderland" by Tim Burton, and on Wednesday I watched "Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief" by Chris Columbus.

I would say that the storyline for Alice in Wonderland was very plain and not really interesting, but I credit the movie for its CGs and character design. I love Johnny Depp! =D The music was only so-so and there wasn't really any suspense or eye catching stuffs. My classmate, Vv even commented that Alice in the movie was too... Er... Manly? Or too old... Or was it that she wasn't cute at all? He said that Alice should be a cute little girl. Therefore he wouldn't watch the movie. Lol.

For Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief, the storyline was not very interesting again, but yet it had some suspense and stuffs that caught my attention. Also, I think the character designs were great and I loved the Gods and mythological creatures. Medusa was really modern though. Haha... So was Groover the Satyr. I love Greek mytology and their mytological creatures, that's why I kind of enjoyed this movie.

Here's some of the poster images for both movies:

Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief.

Alice in Wonderland.

Alice in Wonderland, White and Red queen version.

My favourite version. XD Because Johnny Depp's in it.

Ok time to stop writing now. Have a nice day ahead~

Goodbye With Love Godzilla

I freed Godzilla later this evening. Am feeling sad now as I started missing him not being in my room. =( Reason is, Godzilla was too big for the aquarium we have. Its head can easily reach above the borders of the aquarium.

Can you imagine how long it is? Well, I'm sure you can't. Let's put it this way... Its neck can stretch up to almost 8cm long. And its size is almost twice or more than the size of a computer mouse placed vertically beside each other.
It's quite sad to part with Godzilla as I've taken care of it for almost or more than 2 years. (don't quite remember because it was way too long!)

Watching it grow day by day really made me happy. Although at first I was reluctant to take care of it because it looked ugly. =S But I still took care of it because I wanted a pet really badly that time and this was a free pet. =D the daughter of my mom's friend bought it but went to Singapore, so she had no one to take care of it. So mom took it back for I-don't-know-what reason, and ended up I took care of it. ^^

Anyway, I hope that Godzilla is able to take care of itself when it's in the big pond. There is much more space for it to swim, and hopefully it knows how to... I'm more worried about its diet and the amount of food. Godzilla is really picky, so I don't know about it when it comes to food... Just wish it all the best.

Here's a picture of Godzilla taken by my cellphone while it was in the car. I love you and wish you all the best Godzilla~

Its looking at me. =( I feel bad now.

You shall always be remembered Godzilla. =)

Have a nice day ahead~
